1. Old Business

   • 7:00: Recodification/Bylaw Update Plans

     General Discussion...
     Robert Slowinski presented an update on the process and new timeline for the re-codification/bylaw update, since it wil no longer be ready in time for the General Town Meeting.
     
     Discussion of proposed warrant "Article #36" for a special town meeting that would allow for the current and future re-codification and non-substantive formatting modifications.
     
     Article as follows:
     "ARTICLE #36."To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Clerk to assign appropriate numbers and formatting to by-law sections, subsections, paragraphs and subparagraphs, where none are approved by Town Meeting, and, if such are approved by Town Meeting, after consultation with the Board of Selectmen, to make non-substantive, editorial revisions to ensure consistent and appropriate formatting and numbering, or take any action relating thereto. "
     
     This would require a 2/3rd approval."

     MOTION, moved by Loren Feinstein, seconded by Sara Wik: To present "Article #36" for addition to the warrant for the next special town meeting, pending approval of the article by town council.

     Pass: Aye: Sara Wik, Robert Slowinski, Loren Feinstein. Abstain: Jonathan Lagreze. Not Present: Betsy Corner.

   • 7:15: Recreational Marijuana

     General Discussion...
     Discussed timeline for advertising and holding two public hearings regarding the bylaw amendments relating to recreational marijuana.

     MOTION, moved by Sara Wik, seconded by Loren Feinstein: To table discussion of the proposed new recreational marijuana zoning bylaw and the required public hearings related to that bylaw until Article 36 and the re-codification are settled at a special town meeting.

     Pass: Aye: Sara Wik, Jonathan Lagreze, Robert Slowinski, Loren Feinstein. Not Present: Betsy Corner.

   • 7:45: Planning Board Clerk Budget

     General Discussion...
     Discussed the recent request, and denial the request, for a budget for a Planning Board Clerk position.
     
     Proposed adding agenda item for discussion of pursuing this potential position and budgeting at a future planning board meeting.
     
     Robert Slowinski will follow up with researching historical budgets and clerkship position for former Planning Boards and other town Boards.
