Select Board Votes to Opt-Out of Early Voting

Vote by mail and in person early voting will not be available for the 2026 Annual Town Election

At the request of the Town Clerk, Emma Coburn, the Select Board voted at their open meeting on Tuesday March 24th to opt-out of vote by mail and in-person early voting due to the costs associated and low turnout for both voting methods. Per Mass General Law Chapter 54 Section 25b, the Select Board can opt-out of early voting for a local election.

The Annual Town Election will be held on May 12, 2026 in the downstairs of the Town Office located at 55 Main Rd, Colrain.
